Just a quick note to my future self. Yesterday was the day I gave a presentation on “Web Standards and Accessibility” to some folks at work. Had a very good mix of people in a small group of about 6. I talked too much and had too many slides (as usual), but I think it went fairly well overall. What struck me as odd? The folks who were not present. Unfortunately, the people who weren’t there are the same ones that need to hear the presentation the most (in my opinion). Not a single project manager, art director, or upper-level manager. No sales people or account managers. Perhaps they’ll be at the repeat performance? Hmm…
Don’t forget.
